Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a senior apparel designer to create original, style-led designs for Jordan Performance product lines under the Design Director. You will partner with Colour Design, Graphic Design, Product Management, Development and Merchandising to translate consumer insights into market-ready concepts.

You will mentor Designers, guide tech packs and prototype sampling, and collaborate with athletes and manufacturers to ensure feasibility, timing, and price points across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design or related field.
• 8+ years' experience designing and developing Apparel and related products.
• Translate consumer insights into product solutions and narratives.
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Ability to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs).
• Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and construction.
• Ability to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions.
• Experience and knowledge of basketball or passion to learn.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative designs for Performance product lines under the Design Director.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on product development from concepting through to production.
• Collaborate with Jordan Graphic Designers, Colour Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers to bring seasonal direction to life.
• Guide design feasibility while meeting price points, merchandising needs and timelines.
• Provide prototype sampling and tech pack information.
• Monitor development of prototype samples and coordinate with Production teams.
• Lead and mentor design teammates and share knowledge.
• Work with partners and athletes to communicate seasonal direction.
• Execute on business priorities as a cross-functional collaborator.
