Job summary

Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking a seasonal Director of Player Development, Baseball. This part-time 10-month role supports the Head Coach in recruiting, student-athlete development, video analysis, coaching, and administrative duties, while upholding professional conduct and strong communication with staff and students.

The position emphasizes managing logs, compliance information, and maintaining a high standard of sportsmanship.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills, necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work with and relate well to students.
Excellent sport-specific technical, tactical and strategic knowledge.
Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, internet and email capabilities.
Social media experience, helpful.
Familiarity with ARMS and Teamworks, or similar, preferred.
Prior experience with video editing software, helpful.
Commitment to the student-athlete, passion for the game and ability to coach and motivate.
Ability to recruit within NCAA and Ivy League Rules.
