UPS is seeking a Specialist-level engineer to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment. The role sorts calls and expedites repairs, supporting maintenance mechanics on complex breakdowns.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with programming, networks, motor control theory, and electrical troubleshooting knowledge. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour days, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM, on-site.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering - Preferred
• Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - Preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

Job Description

This is not a remote or flex location position; employee is required to come into the facility for their regular schedule.

Internal Grade Salary: 103

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour workday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM

This position troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant floor devices as necessary to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment. This position sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion. This position provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations. This position assists in solving the daily problems inherent in keeping the conveyors or physical facility in good working order.
