Job summary
Newmark is seeking BAS technicians to troubleshoot, install, service or program building automation systems and assist in commissioning and servicing building controls and facilities management systems. Responsibilities include programming databases, calibrating controls, GUI support, client training, and monitoring system performance.
Applicants should have 2+ years of BAS experience, a valid driver license, and strong HVAC/building automation knowledge. See benefits below.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of DDC/BAS startup, checkout and service experience.
- Valid driver license required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, control systems, building automation, electrical systems and energy management.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting ABB, Siemens, KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell and similar systems.
- Experience with pneumatic controls.
Responsibilities
- Program databases for systems to meet sequences and manufacturer recommendations.
- Calibrate and checkout control systems ensuring commissioning requirements are met.
- Assist graphics team with GUI preparation and delivery when needed.
- Instruct client personnel on operation and maintenance of temperature control systems.
- Monitor BAS systems and resolve equipment performance issues.
