EMCOR Services Integrated Solutions in Orlando, FL is hiring a BAS Installation Foreman to lead installation teams for energy management system projects, including conduit, wiring, panels and devices.

You will supervise apprentices and installers, review drawings, coordinate schedules, ensure safety and quality, and communicate with clients and supervisors. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, hands-on leadership, and a proven BAS background.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years’ BAS industry experience is highly desired.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team with professionalism.
  • Must be able to work in constricted spaces.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Read, review, and execute project documents and blueprints.
  • Lead and teach installation apprentices and installers in the field.
  • Create wire and conduit run plans and communicate plans to the team.
  • Label, pull wires, and mount control panels and wiring.
  • Install conduit and cabling management infrastructure with basic tools.
  • Layout Mechanical Room for conduit and device locations.
  • Troubleshoot or identify communication issues and repair circuits.

Job Title: BAS Installation Foreman

Reports to: Field Operations Supervisor, General Manager

JOB SUMMARY: MSI-ESIS seeks a BAS Installation Foreman to lead our install teams with the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with energy management systems including electric/electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Read, review, and execute project related documents such as blueprints, drawings, project scope, budgets, deadlines, and sequence of operation for proper execution requirements
  • Lead and teach installation apprentices and installers in the field.
  • Create wire and conduit run plans and be able to communicate the plan to the team.
  • Label and pull wires from beginning to end.
  • Mount control panels and wire in power while using basic electrical tools.
  • Mount junction boxes and other electrical connection devices.
  • Installation of conduit and cabling management & support infrastructure systems while using basic electrical tools.
  • Run and bend conduit as needed.
  • Wire panels and devices with PTP drawings.
  • Layout of Mechanical Room for conduit and device locations.
  • Troubleshoot or identify communication issues.
  • Map and install transformer banks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair circuits, wiring, devices, and networks (know how to use a multimeter)
  • Provide trust & leadership to your whole team as well as customers
  • Attend job site meetings to represent & discuss work flow, scheduling and progress
  • Build & wire BAS control panels (in-shop or in-field)
  • Other Job Duties (Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might be assigned)
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in BAS industry is highly desired
  • Candidate is required to be organized, detail oriented and have time management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or in a team atmosphere while acting responsibly and maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Must be able to work in constricted spaces.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate expert level aptitude as it relates to control systems.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of good customer service techniques.
  • Congenial personality and a helpful attitude.
  • Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and lifting of weights of 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing and pulling, and material handling.
  • Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
