Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to lead programming, graphics development, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) across a range of projects. You will build custom databases, troubleshoot networks, and coordinate field work while documenting processes and training end users.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in building automation or HVAC controls, with hands-on programming experience and familiarity with major BAS platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• HVAC controls engineering and/or programming experience.
• Familiarity with BAS systems such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Daikin or others.

Responsibilities

• Lead programming, graphics development, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) on multiple projects.
• Create custom databases and troubleshoot networks related to BMS deployments.
• Coordinate field activities, maintain documentation, and provide end-user training.

Systems Software Engineer Role

As a Systems Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for leading the programming, graphics development, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) on a wide range of projects. This hands-on role involves everything from creating custom databases and troubleshooting networks to field coordination, documentation, and end-user training.

MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• HVAC controls engineering and/or programming experience
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Daikin, or other

NICE TO HAVE

• Tridium Niagara experience and/or certification
• GUI experience with hardware to support LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus
• DDC Controls experience
• Automated Logic or Distech experience
