Jobot is seeking a BAS Systems Specialist to support installation, programming, commissioning, and service of commercial building automation systems across Southern Connecticut.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS/BMS experience in HVAC controls or systems integration.
• Hands-on with DDC controls, field devices, and networked building systems.
• Familiarity with major BAS platforms (Niagara/Tridium, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Alerton).
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and read mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, commission, and service building automation and HVAC control systems
• Support BAS/DDC system integrations involving HVAC equipment, lighting controls, and energy management systems
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance activities
• Interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, sequences of operation, and engineering documentation
• Configure and troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based control networks
• Work closely with project teams to support new construction, retrofit, and upgrade projects
• Provide technical support to customers and respond to service-related issues in the field
• Assist with graphics, trending, alarms, and front-end configuration within BAS platforms
• Document service activity, system changes, and project progress accurately
• Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and technical support
