Job summary

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC is seeking a BAS Installer to join our EMCS Division. This role is responsible for installing Building Automation and Energy Management Control Systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical or BAS experience, maintains strong safety standards, and can work both independently and as part of a team. We offer on-site, full-time work in Nashville, TN with a pay range of $20–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 3-7 years of work experience in BAS or the electrical trade.
• Knowledgeable in EMCS systems, electrical installation materials, and wiring methods
• Ability to work independently for extended periods
• Ability to install conduit raceways and control wiring as directed by supervisor
• Capable of executing installation of floor-level EMCS systems
• OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification required
• Capable of reading and interpreting MEP plans and specifications
• Capable of reading and interpreting EMCS system submittal drawings
• Able to execute installation of mechanical room-level EMCS systems

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, raceways, control wiring, and EMCS devices
• Install control panels, sensors, actuators, and related BAS components
• Pull wire and run conduit
• Follow construction drawings, specifications, and SWECS safety standards
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and project teams
• Keep job sites organized, safe, and compliant
• Meet project timelines while maintaining quality workmanship
• Experience with HVAC controls (BMS/BAS)
