Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a BAS/BMS Controls Specialist (Senior Level) to lead field installation, commissioning and maintenance of building automation systems. You will work on client sites roughly 80% of the time, with a company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities include start-up, testing, diagnostics, and system-level to device commissioning for small to mid-size retrofit projects, leveraging brands like Schneider Electric, Siemens, Trane and Honeywell to optimize comfort and energy use.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with BAS systems such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or others.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls.
• Travel to client sites and work roughly 80% in the field; operate a company vehicle.
• Conduct start-up, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices on projects.

Job Details

MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other

NICE TO HAVE:

• DX Units and/or VRF
• Tridium Niagara
• HVAC controls programming

As a controls specialist on our operations or service team, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls. This role will be roughly 80% in the field at customer sites and you will be provided a company vehicle. Responsibilities include performing start-up, checking, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium-sized new or retrofit projects.
