Swift + Company is a preeminent event production company servicing the Houston and Southwest region of Texas for 30 years. We are known for our outstanding cuisine, full service event production, wedding coordination, corporate event planning, flowers and unique design.

Bartenders

• TABC Certified and experienced staff member who mixes and serves drinks to guests behind a bar or throughout an event.
• Familiarity with served product (custom to each event).
• Bar set up; including knowing the quantity and type of beverage and glassware to be distributed at each bar.
• Ensuring the bar remains neat, clean and meticulously organized.
• Properly chilling the product and distributing to coolers in a timely manner.
• Monitoring all consumption of stock beverages.
• Being professional and courteous to all guests.
• Properly breaking down bar, cleaning up and loading after an event.
• Communicating effectively with the designated Event Manager while informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that the clients objectives are met.
• Following all systems and procedures outlined in Swift + Company Staff Manual.
• Following proper uniform and Swift + Company etiquette requirements.

Waitstaff

• A staff member who offers guests hors d’oeuvres, beverages or small desserts from a passing tray; usually transitions to bussing toward the middle to end of an event.
• Familiarity with menu and served product.
• Approaching and interacting with guests.
• Ensuring trays are always neat and presentable and replenished with fresh product.
• Keeping all condiment bowls clean and wiped down on passing tray.
• Assisting the catering kitchen with set up and bussing.
• Making sure all buffet and rental equipment stays neat, clean and organized.
• Being professional and courteous to all guests.
• Properly breaking down various equipment, bussing and organizing rental equipment for warehouse pick up.
• Communicating effectively with the designated Event Manager while informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that the clients objectives are met.
• Following all systems and procedures outlined in Swift + Company Staff Manual.
• Following proper uniform and Swift + Company etiquette requirements.
• Must be TABC certified.

• Previous experience in hospitality/hotel/restaurant/catering environment preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be TABC Certified.

Work Conditions

• Variable work environment, conducted indoors and outdoors with varying conditions.
• Exposure to varying environments of clients homes and venues.
• Frequent lifting of objects 50 lbs. or more.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• Fast-paced environment subject to short notice activity including numerous schedule and priority changes.
