Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas seeks a friendly, skilled bartender to deliver beverage service at our casino bar locations. You will receive and prepare orders, mix drinks using standard recipes, and greet guests with professional courtesy.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and obtain required licenses. Prior bartender experience is preferred; must be 21+ and provide strong customer service and communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Serve beverages promptly following service procedures.
• Operate cash register, complete transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and stock, including ice replenishment.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.

• Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes.
• Serve beverages, using repetitive motions, in accordance with established service procedures.
• Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping bar top.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
• Maintain and replenish ice supply.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
