Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a personable Bartender to serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in a fast‑paced environment at our Stateline venue. You will maintain attendance, support event scheduling, and deliver friendly, professional guest service.

The role pays an hourly rate of $12.00–$13.00 and is tip eligible. It requires bartending experience, cash handling skills, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Open until December 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Bartending school preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to be self‑directed while working in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
• Learn about beer, wine varieties & spirits and upsell to guests as appropriate.
• Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards.
• Check guests' IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Communicate a cut-off to guests as required.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security when needed.
• Consult with management if decisions are beyond standard scope.
• Request additional products or restock as needed.
• Manage the issued bar bank.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and well‑maintained bar equipment.
• Assist with setting up/breaking down bar equipment and organizing the cooler.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00 - $13.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
• Responsible for learning or having knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available and being able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
• Check the guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Communicate a cut‑off to a guest as required.
• Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
• Bartenders are expected to de‑escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
• Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision‑making.
• Request additional products or restock products as needed.
• Responsible for the issued bank at the bar.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation at all times. Ensures that bar equipment is clean and well‑maintained.
• Other duties as assigned may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment as required and assisting with the organization of the cooler.
