Job summary

Palms Casino Resort is seeking a Bartender for the Palms Pool on a seasonal, on-call basis in Las Vegas. You will craft cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, manage bar stock, and assist with guest service while maintaining bar cleanliness.

The role requires 21+ years old, health and licensing certifications, and at least two years of bartending or resort experience. Shifts include weekends/holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness card.
  • Must obtain a SNHD Health card.
  • Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment.
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard recipes, glassware, and garnishes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to recipes.
  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain bar cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Provide Barbacks and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on bar operations.
  • Maintain bar inventory according to pars and internal controls.
  • Resolve guest complaints and escalate when needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
