Job summary

Stout NYC Hospitality Group is seeking full-time bartenders for The Splendid in Midtown Manhattan. You will execute a detailed cocktail menu, serve a luxury crowd, and contribute to evolving beverage programs.

We offer shift meals, discounts, health insurance for full-time staff, ongoing cocktail education, and clear growth paths across 16 bars and restaurants within the group.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of craft cocktail bartending experience or advanced understanding of mixology or food science
• Speed and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong spirits knowledge; wine knowledge a plus
• Genuine hospitality and hosting mindset
• Availability for nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed cocktail menu with precision and consistency, even on a slammed Thursday night
• Run a high-volume bar: multitask across service well, bar guests, and the floor without dropping quality, warmth or kindness
• Talk guests through the menu, make recommendations, and sell with confidence across cocktails, wine, and spirits
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and prepped, and follow specs exactly. Absolutely no free-pouring
• Join tastings and trainings as the program evolves, and contribute ideas. Many bartenders on our team have had cocktails put on our menus

Bartenders & Mixologists: The Splendid, Midtown Manhattan

The Splendid (16 E 52nd St) is building one of Midtown's most ambitious cocktail programs, and we're looking for full-time bartenders who want to be part of it. Our drinks are a big reason guests come through the door. We're part of a growing hospitality group, and we're hiring people who care about their craft and product.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Speed and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our clientele is a luxury crowd, and we are an up-scale offering
• Strong spirits knowledge; wine knowledge a plus
• Genuine hospitality: we like to think that we're hosting a party every night, and our guests are coming by our place... we're hosting the big thing
• Availability for nights and weekends

Compensation: Minimum Wage
