Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Bartender to craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, and manage transactions in a fast-paced setting.

You will adhere to alcohol service policies, verify IDs, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of bartending principles, recipes, and current trends.
• Able to obtain all Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications.
• Demonstrates hospitality, friendliness, and beverage knowledge.
• Shows organizational and multi-tasking skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Requires lifting up to 25 lb on occasion.
• Enjoys fast-paced, fun work environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders, process cash and card payments.
• Mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Possibly provide drinks from the service well for servers.
• Adhere to alcohol service policies and check IDs for age requirements.
• Follow cash handling policies.
• Set up and break down workstations, clean and sanitize.
• Take inventory counts and ensure product is stocked.
• Provide excellent guest service and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• May include providing servers drinks from the service well
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
