Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is seeking a bartender to craft beverages and deliver guest service in a lively, fast-paced setting. You will work with a team to ensure a memorable experience for guests across the bar and dining areas.

This role requires strong communication, a friendly, guest-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining safety and compliance with alcohol laws.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 where required by law).
• Food Handler and state alcohol certification required.
• Previous high-volume bartending experience preferred.
• Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends with peak-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes.
• Greet guests, take orders, and offer recommendations.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized; wash glassware and manage spills.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to Bar Manager.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately at POS.
• Ensure compliance with age-restriction laws.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Support setup for private events and promotions.
• Stay updated on beverage trends and craftsmanship.

Job Description

The Bartender will be responsible for crafting and serving a diverse range of beverages, delivering exceptional guest service, and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. You will play a key role in ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company recipes and standards.


• Greet guests warmly, take beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences.


• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, cleaning up spills, and disposing of trash.


• Monitor bar inventory levels and communicate shortages to the Bar Manager. Assist with restocking and organizing supplies as needed.


• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale system. Ensure proper change and receipts are given.


• Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.


• Work effectively with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive guest experience.


• Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Escalate issues to management when necessary.


• Assist with the set-up and execution of private events and special promotions as needed.


• Stay informed about new beverage trends and techniques to continually improve bartending skills.


• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred.


• Must be at least 18 years of age / 21 years of age in OK, VA and NC.


• Food Handler and state alcohol certificate required.


• Previous high volume bartending experience preferred.


• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs.


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.


• Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motions.
