Job summary

Hilton Anaheim is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will mix, garnish, and serve beverages, stock bar supplies, and process payments via POS while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in bartending or related roles, strong knowledge of drinks and service standards, and excellent communication. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

  • 2+ years of bartending, Food & Beverage, and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Delight our guests: bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
  • Prepare and serve beverages: mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
  • Maintain bar operations: stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables, for seamless service
  • Process payments efficiently and accurately: use the point-of-sale system to correctly handle cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers
  • Monitor product quality: manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of all beverage-related items
  • Address guest concerns professionally: manage situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect, ensuring a safe environment
  • Comply with regulatory standards: maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well‑being

Hilton Anaheim is looking for its next Bartender to join the team! If you have a passion for customer service, strong attention to detail, and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of bartending, Food & Beverage, and/or customer service experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage services, including wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, hot and non-alcoholic beverages, cuisines, and accompaniments.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide welcoming, professional, and engaging guest service.

  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to accurately use POS and other technology.

  • A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • The ability to work a full shift of up to 8 hours walking and standing.

  • The ability to bend, stoop, walk, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Legal eligibility to serve alcohol in the state of employment.
