Job summary

Hotel Equities seeks a Bartender for the Hampton by Hilton in St. Thomas, VI. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of drink preparation, excellent guest service, and the ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

Responsibilities include assisting servers and bartenders, maintaining cleanliness, handling cash, and ensuring compliance with health and alcohol service laws. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certification.
• Must be able to stand and perform basic tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team.
• Assist servers, other bartenders, and bar porters when necessary.
• Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior.
• Maintain open line of communications with each department.
