Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a personable Bartender to join the Key West Historic Inns Collection. You will prepare and serve beverages, welcome guests, and help maintain a clean, engaging bar in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with strong guest-service focus and the ability to multitask. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in hotels, resorts, or bars preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage prep.
• Cash handling and POS experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to engage with guests and provide attentive service.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Must meet age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Certifications in food safety and responsible service preferred or obtainable.

Overview

Key West Historic Inns is seeking an outgoing, personable, and service-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. If you enjoy creating great drinks, connecting with guests, and bringing positive energy to every interaction, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Bartender, you will create memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages with consistency, quality, and attention to detail. You'll welcome guests, provide knowledgeable recommendations, maintain a clean and inviting bar, and help create the relaxed and engaging atmosphere our guests expect while visiting Key West.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, takes pride in exceptional service, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Previous bartending experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, beverage preparation, and responsible alcohol service.
• Previous cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to engage naturally with guests while providing attentive and efficient service.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must meet all applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol service certification preferred or ability to obtain required certifications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
