Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Bartender for the DoubleTree St. Augustine Hotel to handle bar setup, drink mixing, and guest service. You will ensure quality service, maintain safety standards, and support the bar team in a high-volume environment.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails, strong communication in English, and the ability to multitask while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage service environment or establishment.
• Ability to mix cocktails and provide exceptional service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up, mix drinks, serve guests, and clean up bar area according to guidelines.
• Check IDs to verify drinking age and process payments accurately.
• Ring guest checks and process cash/charges per policy.
• Prepare liquor requisitions and maintain pars; ensure compliance with state liquor laws.
• Maintain side work and stay organized during shifts.

Provide exceptional service to all guests. Able to multitask and handle all the equipment especially in a bar that uses modern technology. Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages. Able to read, speak and understand English.
