Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation seeks a Bartender to deliver high-quality beverage service across social venues of the hotel. The bartender sets up, serves, and breaks down the bar area, maintaining quality and consistent service for guests.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, recommending drinks, planning menus, and sometimes serving at tables. Must hold TABC and Food Handler certifications and be available on weekends, holidays, afternoons, and nights.

• Availability to work weekends, holidays, afternoons, evenings and night shifts

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Also acts as a Server when needed
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
