Job summary

Montage International in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Bartender for the Cabaret (On Call) role in our luxury Pendry venues. Interact with guests, craft cocktails, upsell, and ensure exceptional beverage service while upholding brand standards.

You will maintain a clean bar, stock appropriately, and collaborate with management and service staff to deliver WOW moments. Prior bartending and micros experience are preferred; weekend and holiday flexibility is required.

Your Journey

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, stocking with appropriate products and supplies
• Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

Compensation

The pay scale for Bartender, Cabaret (On Call) is $16.90 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
