Beechmont Country Club in Beachwood, OH is seeking a full-time Bartender to deliver friendly, professional service in a fast-paced, member-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must have related experience in F&B; club/restaurant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and health regulations.
• Must have food and beverage, ala carte and banquet experience.
• Must have proven bartender experience.
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must be of legal age to craft/serve alcoholic beverages in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Learn and memorize the names and drink preferences of regular members to provide proactive, personalized service.
• Mix and serve cocktails, beer, and wine according to standard recipes and club preferences.
• Assist with food service in the bar area, take reservations, and support high-volume events.
• Perform opening and closing duties, restock inventory, and ensure glassware is polished and sanitized.
• Adhere to state liquor laws by verifying IDs and monitoring for signs of intoxication.

BEECHMONT COUNTRY CLUB

Beechmont CC is currently in final phases of renovation and will be opening in spring of 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Member Recognition:Learn and memorize the names and drink preferences of regular members to provide proactive, personalized service.
• Beverage Service:Mix and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beer, and wine according to standard recipes and club-specific preferences.
• Clubhouse Support:Assist with food service in the bar area, take reservations, and occasionally support high-volume private events.
• Operational Setup:Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing garnishes, restocking inventory, and ensuring all glassware is polished and sanitized.
• Compliance:Strictly adhere to state liquor laws by verifying member identification and monitoring for signs of intoxication.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have related experience in F&B; club/restaurant environment preferred
• Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
• Must have food and beverage/a la carte and banquet experience
• Must have proven bartender experience.
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must be of legal age to craft/serve alcoholic beverages in the state of Ohio.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
• They will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel, and climb
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs occasionally
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards
• Noise level is typically moderate to loud
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Work weekends and holidays

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Competitive hourly rate up to $20, plus a commission program; commensurate with verifiable experience, and in-person mixology interview.
