Job summary

Soho House & Co in Nashville is seeking a Bartender/Barista with a focus on barista duties to prepare high-quality beverages and provide friendly service in a clean, welcoming setting. The role supports bar operations and guest experience in a fast-paced club environment.

You will follow company recipes, collaborate with the team, and train in beverage offerings while engaging guests and maintaining standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in high-volume F&B operation.
• Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced perishable items.
• Experience making coffee drinks a plus.
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule and reliable.
• Tips certified.
• Micros a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders; wash glassware and utensils after each use.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials and menu items to promote sales through great guest experience.
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register.
• Check identification to ensure legal age for alcohol and tobacco.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays that promote beverage options.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment to Barbacks.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

This role provides friendly, attentive customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming, environment.

This role provides friendly, attentive customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming, environment.

Main Duties

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar
• Maintain a clean and organized section as well as collaborate with other bartenders to; wash glassware and utensils after each use, Clean up after customers and clean work area
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings
• Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote additional sales through creating optimal experience for dining
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register
• Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products as well as determine when a customer has had too much alcohol
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and can increase overall sales and member / guest experience
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment of items to Barbacks
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program and consistent experience
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
• Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds.
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
