Valor Hospitality Partners seeks an experienced bartender to set up, mix drinks, serve guests, and maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction across our properties.

The role requires 3–6 months in food/beverage service, ability to read checks and operate in dim lighting, and proficiency in English. Candidates must meet liquor laws and complete required certifications. Attractive benefits and daily pay options are available.

• Vision ability to read checks, printouts, and observe in dim lighting.
• Able to mix cocktails correctly.

• Manual coordination to punch buttons and carry trays.
• English literacy required.

POSITION PROFILE

Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and clean-up of bar area while enduring quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of company standards and profit maximization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

• Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
• Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Check customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age.
• Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures.
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Know and comply with state liquor laws, obtain Tips certification.
• Ensure established pars are maintained.
• Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
• Able to mix cocktails correctly
• Able to provide wine service
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.
• Stand continuously for long periods of time.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.
