Our menu offerings reflect the unique spirit and sensibility of the Washington metropolitan area, highlighting our partnerships with local farms and purveyors who are committed to sustainable, organic, and biodynamic processes.HOURLY RATE: $15.00 per hour, plus gratuityOVERVIEW:To provide proper service & guest satisfaction for our bar and restaurant guests as outlined to the quality standards of the operation set forth by the Food and Beverage Team. To be fully knowledgeable and engaged in all aspects of the bar program and beverage services. Assist and execute an elevated bar experience and understanding of all food and beverage items served. Uses hospitality skills in building a rapport with guests. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious and professional manner.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide luxury guest experience at all times.Utilize selling techniques to provide Bespoke service.Prepare drinks in accordance with specified recipes.Daily checks of bar for cleanliness and proper stocks of supplies before opening.Support and assist bar and cocktail program. Vast knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated patrons.Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests upon arrival.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.Be familiar with all hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.Follow all departmental service standards of procedure.Carry out any other duties as and when required by the Director of Food & Beverage.*The list of responsibilities is illustrative only and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by this position.
