Applebee’s restaurants nationwide are seeking a Bartender to mix and serve beverages in line with Applebee’s standards. You will engage with guests, ensure timely service, and contribute to a friendly atmosphere.

You may also assist with food service and maintain a clean bar area, while upholding safety standards and the Applebee’s Service Promise. Prior beverage experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or beverage service.
• Ability to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Job Description

As a Bartender at Applebee’s, you will be responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Applebee’s specifications. In addition to preparing drinks, you may also serve food and beverages directly to guests, ensuring each interaction reflects the Applebee’s Service Promise. This includes making friendly, personal connections with every guest, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, setting the pace with attentive service, delivering orders accurately and promptly, and proactively addressing and resolving any issues to ensure the guest experience is right every time.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
