Purpose

A Bartender is a service professional who prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, assesses customer requests, and offers great recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Check customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
• Clean, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

Requirements and Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks preferred.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Relevant training certificate required before commencing work.
• Safe Serve certification & WI ABC card preferred. If no card and certification, the course will have to be completed on the property before starting work.
