Job summary

Legends Global in Wichita, KS is hiring a Bartender for Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center. The role requires customer service skills, basic knowledge of bartending and food service, and the ability to handle transactions accurately.

You will maintain a sanitary work area, pour and mix drinks, check IDs, and assist with inventory and cash/credit verification during events across Legends venues in Wichita and Andover.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass background/credit checks.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Able to work independently and with volunteers and staff.
• Must pass Legends Global Alcohol and Policy Training.
• Ability to count money and handle cash accurately.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a neat appearance.

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Bartender at Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center.

Summary

Position requires an individual to have customer service skills, positive attitude, basic knowledge of bartending and food service. Responsible for accurate accounting and all transactions and assist with location inventory controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and a sanitary work area.
• Accurate pouring and mixing of drinks.
• Check ID when serving alcohol.
• Interact with guest and clients in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Ensures proper opening and closing.
• Ensure proper pouring per policy.
• Ensures inventory counts are accurate before, during and after events.
• Accurately verify all cash, credit, and liquor inventory.
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
• Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global venues in Wichita and Andover.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
• Knowledge of bartending.
• Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money.
• Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
• Positive attitude and neat appearance.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Attend all Legends Global Alcohol and Policy Training Classes.
• Ability to pass background/credit check.

Education and/or Experience
