Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our team. We emphasize hospitality, inclusivity, and a strong service culture across 200+ locations.

The role focuses on crafting drinks, engaging guests, and maintaining bar standards while ensuring safety and compliance. Candidates should have a High School diploma, at least 3 years in bartending, and preferably Bartending and Alcohol awareness certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Three years in a bartending role preferred.
• Bartending certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes and mixers.
• Keep bar, glasses and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
• Prepare drinks per bar standards and guest preferences.
• Present bills and process payments.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor for overconsumption and take appropriate action.
• Lock up and secure all beverages and equipment, handle cash drops.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures bar is set up with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, etc.
• Ensures that the bar, glasses and cutlery is clean and sanitized
• Ensures guests are of legal age to consume alcohol
• Prepares drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences
• Presents bar bill and takes payment
• Ensures guests are engaged and satisfied
• Monitors guests for overconsumption of alcohol and takes steps as necessary
• Locks up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of three (3) years in a bartending role
• Certification in bartending preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Thorough knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
