Moxy St. Petersburg Downtown is seeking a bartender to provide friendly, timely service for guests, prepare and serve drinks and foods, and maintain bar cleanliness and organization.

You will verify age, handle payments, and uphold safety and sustainability standards in a vibrant hotel setting. Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identifications to verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take, serve and clear food and beverage to guests as needed.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Identify and manage intoxicated guests per standards.
• Assist with beverage inventory and par levels.
• Complete required side work before shift end.
• Aim to increase guest satisfaction scores across the department.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.

Beverage Manager/Restaurant Supervisor - Restaurant Manager - Food & Beverage Manager

Your Focus

• Maintain clean and organize bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• If applicable, take orders, and serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas.
• Issue guest check and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with taking beverage inventory.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills
