Job summary

Touchmark at The Ranch in Prescott, AZ is seeking a high-energy Bartender/Attendant with strong communication skills to greet residents, take orders, and serve beverages and food. You will learn guests’ preferences, recommend menu items, and prepare drinks with attention to cleanliness and safety.

The role requires an engaging personality, reliable work ethic, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior POS experience and knowledge of drink-mixing tools are a plus.

Touchmark at The Ranch is looking for a professional, high-energy Bartender/Attendant with excellent communication skills to serve cocktails and food to residents. The Bartender/Attendant will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food.

To succeed as a Bartender/Attendant you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Developing new cocktail recipes.
• High School Diploma.
• Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintain standards of Food and Beverage quality and guest service quality.
• Greet residents and guests.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal portions have been completed.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Complete all side work as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work and storage area.
• May assist in the set-up, cleaning, and refreshing of the function rooms.
• Process all orders using Point of Sale system (POS) and collect payment from customers, and provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to residents.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of Food and Beverage prep areas, counting the bank at end of shifts, and following property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
