Job summary

The Henry, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, is seeking a bartender in Plano, TX. The role requires 2+ years of high-volume bartending, strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, excellent guest hospitality, and the ability to work with POS systems and OpenTable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years high-volume recent bartending experience.
• Excellent communication and guest hospitality.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Know the menu and make genuine recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; basic cocktails.
• Maintain clean work area and manage high-volume calmly.
• Adapt to on-the-fly requests; follow laws and policies.
• Available weekends and some holidays; able to fill in as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 2+years high-volume recent bartending experience
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
• Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations
• Have a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Know basic cocktail recipes
• Keep it clean. You’re fanatical about clutter.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
• Understand POS systems and OpenTable (or other digital/online reservation systems)
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies and procedures
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
