Torchy’s Tacos is hiring a bartender to deliver a Damn Good experience. You’ll engage guests, prepare cocktails, and share menu knowledge to boost guest satisfaction.

Role requires staying active, lifting up to 40 pounds, and maintaining bar cleanliness while working with a team to ensure fast, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
• Open to varied schedules based on business needs.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods and walk for hours.
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Job description

The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer to now operating restaurants nationwide.

Here’s what we need:

We’re looking for outgoing and friendly Bartenders to ensure a Damn Good experience for each and every guest. Bartenders provide a full-service dining experience that includes menu knowledge and cocktail preparation that follows Torchy’s recipes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and be able to make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Service Excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
