Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in Palm Desert, CA is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our team. You will greet guests quickly, suggest food and beverage pairings, and prepare drinks following our recipes to deliver a memorable dining experience.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and serving guests with a friendly, attentive approach. Training and advancement opportunities are available in a dynamic, iconic casual dining setting within CPK restaurants.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in bartending, 1–3 months preferred.
• State-mandated beverage service certificate where applicable.
• Ability to provide friendly, fast service in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds with a warm, friendly greeting and make drink suggestions for all courses.
• Prepare drink recipes following approved procedures and recipes, and conduct wine service.
• Ensure excellent guest experience and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties Our Bartenders are energetic, friendly, fun loving service professionals that thrive in a teamwork environment. They greet customers within 30 seconds with a warm, friendly greeting, making specific food & beverage suggestions for all courses. They prepare our drink recipes following all recipes and proper procedures and conduct wine service. We require one to three months related experience or training. All bartenders are required to have their state-mandated beverage service certificate (in states where applicable).
