Job summary

Troon invites applications for a part-time Bartender at Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St George, UT. You will craft beverages and provide memorable service in a fast-paced hospitality setting, while upholding standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires a positive demeanor, strong hygiene, and knowledge of cocktails. Prior POS experience and ServSafe/TIPS certified candidates are favored; a GED or high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing and understanding).
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist in cost control and inventory.
• Assist with seasonal cocktails and menu development.
• Assist department leaders with social media content and schedule.
• Maintain inventory control and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose:

Makesand serves guests delicious beveragesin accordance withestablishedstandards and with hospitality and professionalism.Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages,assistsin cost control, inventory andmaintainsinventory records.

Assistsdepartment leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu

Assists department leaders with social media schedule and creation of content

Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with managementin a timely mannerwhen supplies are needed.

Ensurecompliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.

Communicatesguest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.

Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limitedtoinventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.

Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.

Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, andspecial events.

Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.

Onoccasionwillservemeals to guests.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Regular and reliable attendance.

MinimumRequirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g.POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells andsits.Frequentlylifts upto 25 pounds.Occasionally maylift upto 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace

Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes

Professional and courteous demeanor

Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values

Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees,clientsand vendors

Fluent in English speaking,writingand understanding

Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
