Job summary

Limestone BBQ and Bourbon is hiring bartenders to join our hospitality team in Newark. You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include drink preparation, inventory management, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Training provided for 1–3 years experience, with opportunities for advancement and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years experience preferred, but will train.
• ABC Certification - DE or TIPS Certification - MD.
• Ability to access online scheduling apps.
• Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by both federal and state laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Monitor stock levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering and restocking items as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, tools, and work surfaces.
• Process payments, handle cash transactions, and keep accurate records of tabs and sales.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and cleanliness standards.
• Foster relationships with regular customers and create a lively, enjoyable environment.

Position Overview

Our Bartenders are a crucial member of the bar and restaurant team, responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role involves mixing drinks, managing the bar area, and engaging with guests to enhance their overall dining or nightlife experience. Bartenders must possess a strong knowledge of drink recipes, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Variable Hours: May include late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the establishment’s operating hours.
