Job summary

Dave & Buster’s is seeking an energetic Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beer, and deliver exceptional service. You will know the menu inside out, suggest pairings, and maintain a welcoming, safe bar environment while adhering to alcohol laws. Flexibility for busy shifts is essential.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months bartending experience, are 21+, and can work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Teamwork and urgency are key to success.

• 21+ years old and alcohol certification as required.
• Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest relations and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver friendly, timely service.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Show knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Process payment transactions and manage side work.
• Keep bar stocked, clean, and compliant with safety standards.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar, while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 6 months of bartending experience
• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
