Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment in Nashville seeks a friendly Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beer, and deliver great food, drinks, and FUN for Guests. You know the menu, make beverage suggestions, and help ensure order accuracy while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You must have at least 6 months of bartending experience, be 21+, and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Uniform standards must be followed.
• Able to communicate with Management, Team Members, Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all guests; be ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Show extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests' needs.
• Adhere to local alcohol laws, procedures and policies.
• Process payment transactions.
• Maintain a stocked, clean, and safe bar with side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

Welcome and engage with all guests. Be our ambassador of FUN! Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!) Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN! Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar, while completing the necessary side work Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least 6 months of bartending experience 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required Comply with the company uniform standards Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!) Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests Must act with a swift sense of urgency Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
