Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an experienced bartender to prepare cocktails and beverages while engaging with members. The role includes taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a clean, compliant bar area within the cafe environment.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of bartending experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and an alcohol-serving certification. CPR/AED is required within 30 days of hire, with physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces, equipment, and dishware.
• Restock liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcohol ingredients; replace beer kegs.
• Reconcile cash at end of shift.

Job description

Position Summary

The Bartender understands and follows alcohol serving laws. They prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while interacting with customers, taking and serving food as necessary. The Bartender maintains a clean and sanitized environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• Reconciles the bar’s cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with inventory and ordering

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and pays up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
