José Andrés Group is seeking a dynamic hospitality professional for bar and beverage service in Miami Beach. You will deliver attentive service, craft cocktails, and educate guests on menu items and pairings in a lively, hospitality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Exceed guests’ expectations by providing an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary and beverage experience with impeccable service.
• Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates.
• Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails.
• Articulate appealing descriptions of items, explain ingredients and cooking methods, and suggest beverage pairings.
• Participate in R&D for cocktails with the team.
• Maintain expected steps of service during high-volume peak hours.
• Have intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits; knowledge of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish wines is a plus.

• Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates.

• Ability to articulate an appealing description of every item we offer. Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods as well as suggestive beverage pairings.
• Participates in the R&D part of cocktails creations with the team!
• Ability to maintain expected steps of service during high volume peak hours.
• At least an intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits is required.
• A knowledge of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish wines is a plus!

Requirements

• This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
