Our organization provides catering services to groups ranging from two individuals to over two thousand attendees. Monona Catering operates as a union workplace, and employees become eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment, provided they maintain an average of 30 hours of work per week. Benefits include health insurance, dental coverage, short-term disability, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, with a starting wage of $8.61 per hour, in addition to tips. Additionally, the facility is closed on all major holidays, guaranteeing employees time off on these days.
We adhere to specific personal appearance standards, which mandate neatly trimmed facial hair and limited facial piercings. Uniforms are provided by the company, and all laundering of these uniforms is managed by our staff. Meals are also supplied to our employees.
