Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Kyle, TX is seeking outgoing bartenders to deliver a Damn Good guest experience through strong menu knowledge and crafted cocktails. You’ll engage guests, learn the menu, and provide efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A current required state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
• Flexible work schedule based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the bar area.
• Bend/stretch/twist to reach shelves at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests in a friendly, outgoing manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy’s recipes with consistency and quality.
• Learn the menu and make informed recommendations to guests.

The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer to now operating restaurants nationwide.

Here’s what we need:

We’re looking for outgoing and friendly Bartenders to ensure a Damn Good experience for each and every guest. Bartenders provide a full-service dining experience that includes menu knowledge and cocktail preparation that follows Torchy’s recipes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and be able to make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Service Excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• A current required state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
• Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
