Torchy’s Tacos in Houston is seeking an energetic bartender to deliver a Damn Good guest experience, combining bar skills with menu knowledge and Torchy’s recipe-driven cocktails. You will help guests choose offerings, maintain high service standards, and contribute to a lively, welcoming bar environment.

You’ll interact with guests, craft cocktails, keep the bar clean, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
• Open to varied work schedules.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds.
• Standing for long periods; able to walk for extended times.
• Bend/stretch/reach for objects on shelves.

Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchio’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.

The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer to now operating restaurants nationwide.

Here’s What We Need

We’re looking for outgoing and friendly Bartenders to ensure a Damn Good experience for each and every guest. Bartenders provide a full-service dining experience that includes menu knowledge and cocktail preparation that follows Torchy’s recipes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
