Job Description

As an Applebee's Bartender, you will mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, deliver the best drinks to customers, and create a great bar experience. You will be friendly to both staff and customers and work as part of the service team.

Responsibilities

• Mixer outstanding alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
• Provide excellent service by assisting servers and ensuring a great bar experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and adhere to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old (per state law).
• Be able to effectively communicate with others and be friendly to staff and customers.
• Committed to making an impact and working hard with a positive attitude.
• Physically able to remain stationary, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and walk for up to four hours per shift.
• Can handle cleaning and sanitization duties while wearing protective equipment.

Physical Standards

• Must have ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for long periods of up to four (4) hours in length.
• Must be able to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen about 30 times per shift.
• Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff.
• Must wear protective hand coverings, face coverings/masks, and use disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the shift.
• Must frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout shift.
