Job summary

HHM Hotels invites applications for a Bartender to provide friendly and timely beverage and food service, ensuring guest satisfaction in bar and lounge areas. The role involves garnish prep, ID checks, and beverage inventory, with emphasis on safety and sustainable practices.

You will contribute to a clean bar, accurate payments, and adherence to health and safety standards, while supporting team goals and guest experience enhancements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certification is a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate is a plus and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take beverage orders, serve and clear food and beverages to guests seated in bar/lounge areas when applicable.
• Process guest checks and payments.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Maintain beverage inventory and par levels.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Look to improve guest satisfaction scores and overall service.

Your Focus

• Maintain clean and organize bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• If applicable, take orders, and serve and clear food and beverage to guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas.
• Issue guest check and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels as needed.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Assist with taking beverage inventory.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills
