Job summary

North Italia is hiring bartenders as part of its upcoming Bridge Street location. The role offers solid pay with room to grow and includes hospitality training, health benefits after 25 hours/week, PTO after 25 hours/week, discounted shift meals, and a 35% dining discount for you and your party.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowledge of drinks, maintaining cash and POS operations, and adhering to beverage laws while delivering timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bartending experience.
• Must be of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Comfortable with basic math, able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Welcome/greet guests and know regulars by name, preference and needs.
• Be knowledgeable on wine, beer, and liquor and ingredients for cocktails.
• Know and inform guests about specialty drinks and menu items.
• Maintain cash bank and follow established procedures.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Deliver drink orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

Outgoing, hospitable, and ready to make friends while serving from behind the bar. You should possess at least two years of bartending experience, and be of age to serve alcoholic beverages. It's important you're comfortable with basic math, able to handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system. You should have excellent English communication skills, comfortable standing for long periods of time, and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
