THE ONE GROUP is seeking a bartender at our Downey, CA location to craft signature cocktails, engage guests, and deliver a premium bar experience in a high-energy setting. You will anticipate guest needs and ensure flawless drinks.

You should bring bartending experience in upscale venues, strong mixology knowledge, and the ability to multitask under pressure. The role includes upholding health and safety standards while collaborating with the front-of-house team.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and craft beer.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve signature cocktails, maintaining high standards.
• Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and recipes.
• Engage guests with recommendations and interactive service.
• Process drink orders efficiently into the POS and handle payments.
• Setup, stock, and maintain a clean bar before, during, and after shifts.
• Assist with food orders when guests are seated at the bar.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain sanitation standards.
• Report equipment issues to management and assist front-of-house as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for craftingcocktails, engaging guests, and delivering premium bar experience. Your missionis to anticipate guest needs, execute flawless drinks, and create an inviting,high-energy atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepareand serve signature cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beveragesto maintain THE ONE GROUP's high-quality standards
• Maintainan expert-level knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail recipes
• Engagewith guests, providing menu recommendations and an interactive experience
• Processdrink orders efficiently and accurately into the Point of Sale (POS)system
• Maintainproper cash handling procedures, including processing credit cardtransactions and making changes when necessary
• Setup, stock, and maintain an organized, clean bar before, during, and aftershifts
• Garnishdrinks, replenish snacks, and present beverages attractively andconsistently
• Assistwith food orders for guests seated at the bar and ensure timely delivery
• Complywith all health and safety regulations and maintain high sanitationstandards
• Reportmaintenance or equipment issues to management
• Performblind cash drops in the safe at the end of each shift
• Supportthe front-of-house team by helping with food running, bussing tables, andassisting hosts when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previousbartending experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurantpreferred
• Strongknowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and craft beer
• Abilityto multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure
• Excellentguest engagement and communication skills
• Abilityto stand for long periods and lift trays or bar equipment as needed
• Availabilityto work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Mustfollow all alcohol service guidelines and always represent STKprofessionally
