Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection on Knox Street in Dallas is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will prepare and serve cocktails and non‑alcoholic beverages, maintain the bar area, and contribute to an elevated guest experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bartending experience, strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and cocktails, and a background in luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in foodservice or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality preferred.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; team player.
• Able to multitask and stay organized during busy service.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in an efficient, consistent, and high-quality manner
• Provide attentive, engaging service while building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs
• Assist guests in selecting beverages by offering knowledgeable recommendations based on preferences
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu offerings, including cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and specials
• Accurately take, input, and process orders using POS systems (e.g., Micros), ensuring proper timing and billing
• Prepare and present guest checks; process payments and signatures accurately
• Ensure compliance with established service standards, including Forbes or property‑specific guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the bar is properly stocked at all times
• Follow safe food handling and alcohol service procedures under health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient bar and restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., food handler’s permit, alcohol service certification)
