Job summary

Five Iron Golf NYC LLC is seeking friendly bartenders to deliver exceptional hospitality at our sports bars and venues. You will greet guests, learn preferences, recommend menu items, and expertly prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and light food offerings.

You will maintain a guest-ready bar, manage inventory, and create specials and promos. You’ll verify ages, work nights and weekends, and report to the General Manager in a fast-paced, team environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide above-and-beyond service to Guests with a friendly face.
• Expertise in spirits/beer/wine.
• Maintain an appealing and Guest-ready bar area.
• Determine Guests’ beverage preferences and make on-point recommendations.
• Manage inventory and order supplies to keep bar stocked.
• Create fresh and new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promos.
• Understand all key business functions, including simulator functionality.
• Verify identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Take pride in guests’ enjoyment and experience at Five Iron Golf.

We are seeking Bartenders.

Bartenders at Five Iron Golf are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Bartenders greet customers with a smile, learn about their preferences, are helpful in answering any questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Bartenders report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide above-and-beyond service to Guests with a friendly face

• Create fresh and new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promos

• Verify identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
• Take pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf

Required Qualifications:

• Server and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work with a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location
• Meet state minimum age to serve alcohol
